WTF?!

I check my text messages, like I do each and everyday after work, and this is what I get.

"I just wanted to let you know that if something should happen to me, I've always loved you and will continue to."

WTF? Seriously!!!

My ex decided to call it quits roughly 5 months ago. Quits after an off and on relationship for the past 6 years, that has ended in a divorce and several break ups. (ya I know...first time was shame on him, second and third time was shame on me). Two weeks after the break up, everything is fine and he wants to get back together. Can we all say "Uh NO!! I'm done".

Every now and then I get these little text messages like:

"I'm miserable without you."

"Do you hate me?"

"I'm going to start dating ****, just wanted to let you know." The lovely F-ing 18 year old .

And now I get: If something should happen to me... Why me? And how much longer is this going to go on? Sorry, I will not change my phone number. I've had it for way to long and honestly I don't feel like trying to remember a new one. I've picked up my life, and moved on. I've found someone new that doesn't treat me like poo, wants to spend time with me, and doesn't play video games - EVER!!!

Don't get me wrong. I cared and still care very much for this guy. Just not sure if he completely understands what the underlying issues are between us. Not sure he will...even after I've told him, on several occations.
